A Little Bit About the History of Miltona Custom Meats

Miltona Custom Meats is a retail meat market and meat processing facility located in the small community of Miltona, MN. As a local market we serve customers throughout central and greater Minnesota.

Operations opened in the 1960s. Miltona Custom Meats has won numerous awards and has developed a reputation for delivering high-quality, healthy meats that delight meat connoisseurs and Minnesota families alike.

Justin and Kristy Schroeder bought Miltona Custom Meats in 2021. Justin learned the butchering and sausage making trade from the previous owners, Greg and Bonnie Johnson, and at that time had worked at Miltona Custom Meats for just under 20 years. Justin and Kristy look forward to continuing the tradition of providing high quality meats and sausages, maintaining the award-winning reputation of Miltona Custom Meats, and creating new flavors for everyone.

  • Never visited Miltona. Was referred by Dorothy Reiner. The sirloin steaks were very juicy and tasty. Much better than the big box stores. We wish we would have had them cut thinner. The lady who helped us offered to, but we declined. It took a long time to grill them. But they were awesome when done.
